A week and a half after writing back to Barclays regarding my application for a bank account, I still hadn’t had a reply.
I followed up again this morning, suggesting that a lack of a response meant that Barclays couldn’t condone affiliate marketing either.
Having been quite pushy and salesy in our previous meetings, the business advisor has just got back to me suggesting that he’s going to have to check with his managers before proceeding.
You have to laugh really.
After a meeting that lasted over an hour where I clearly spelled out what my business was going to be, the fact that I asked for written confirmation that there would be no problems setting up my account has suddenly made him think twice.
It looks like Barclays are going to have to be crossed off my list too.
